A restoration at the Màr – Presentation of the restored marbles of the Spinola and Sansoni monuments

We look forward to seeing you at the presentation of the restored marbles of the Spinola and Sansoni monuments on Friday 12 July 2024 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the Provinces of Imperia and Savona, the Municipality of Savona and the Civico Museo Archeologico e della Città will present the restored marbles of two Renaissance monuments from the destroyed church of San Domenico. The restoration is part of a project conceived by the Superintendency and financed by the Ministry of Culture, which has made it possible to recompose the main elements of the monument of Cardinal Agostino Spinola and to display parts of the monument by Antonio Sansoni in the Museum’s premises at Priamàr.

An aperitif will be offered at the end of the presentation.
