A Night at the Museum: painting a medieval miniature-6 July 2023

A new evening event at the Archaeological Museum, where we offer a workshop in which you will discover how the miniatures in ancient medieval manuscripts were painted.

Using reproductions of original tools and colours, we will repeat the gestures of the ancient amanuensis surrounded by the museum’s precious collections. he workshop will take place at the Civic Archaeological and City Museum starting at 8.30 pm. We will provide the materials and illustrate the decoration techniques used in ancient times. At the end of the activity, the miniature produced will remain with you.

The cost of the workshop is 6€.
